Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency is core to what SourceDerm stands for. Here is exactly how we make money and why it doesn't affect what you see.
- ✓Allow SourceDerm to be completely free for users
- ✓Fund ongoing research and data maintenance
- ✓Support brand verification and coverage expansion
- ✓Enable a sustainable business model with no ads
- ✗Affect Trust Matrix tier classification for any seller
- ✗Determine ordering of sellers within a tier
- ✗Remove warning labels on T5 or T6 sellers
- ✗Promote any seller above its legitimate tier position
How affiliate commissions work
When you tap a Shop button in SourceDerm and make a purchase, SourceDerm may earn a small commission from the retailer. This commission is paid by the retailer — not added to your purchase price. You pay the same price whether you arrive via SourceDerm or directly.
We participate in: Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten Advertising, and Impact.
The non-negotiable principle
The Trust Matrix classification is based solely on authorization status and price variance. No seller can pay to improve their tier, remove a warning label, or gain preferential placement. The classification system is structurally protected from commercial pressure.
FTC compliance
This disclosure satisfies the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
